Talon Fincher made the haul from his hometown of Aztec, New Mexico along with his trusty Yamaha YZF-R6 to take on the first annual running of The Invite presented by Dunlop at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. The twenty-two-year-old chose to compete in the 600 Shoot-Out class as well as the Superbike 600 Amateur division, splitting his time on track between both classes. Fincher did well in the 600 Shoot-Out out of the Amateur class, finishing 7th in both races with consistent lap times on display. The rider out of New Mexico had a strong showing in the first of four Superbike 600 Amateur races, finishing in 2nd position about ten seconds behind the class winner. Fincher continued the same form in the second race as he improved his best lap time and maintained a spot on the podium, taking 3rd place at the checkered flag. In the third and fourth races, the Yamaha rider improved his lap time yet again as he dipped into the low 1:24’s, ultimately finishing 3rd in both races as well as the overall class standings.
