Four-time ASRA ThunderBike Champion and previous MotoAmerica Twins Cup competitor Ray Hofman was one of the riders to come out for the first running of The Invite presented by Dunlop at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in Pawnee County, Oklahoma. The Wisconsin resident made the short journey from his home state with a Kawasaki Ninja 300 and his trusty Ducati 749, ready to do battle on the twists and turns of Hallett. Hofman signed up to compete in the 300 & 400 +50 division, the Superbike 300 Expert class, as well as the Twins Expert, and Twins Shoot-Out classes. In the smaller displacement classifications, the rider out of Wisconsin was a little bit down on power compared to some of his competitors, but he still managed to come away with a 4th place result in both races of the 300 & 400 +50 class. In the Superbike 300 Expert class, there was a bit more of an even playing field, but there was also a little more depth of competition. Hofman managed to pull off a 4th place in the opening race and finished the next three with a 5th place result, placing him firmly within the top five overall. On his mighty Ducati 749 in the Twins categories, the rider out of Wisconsin demonstrated solid speed throughout the weekend. He scored 3-2-3-3 finishes in the four races of the Twins Expert class and ended up on the overall podium and he managed an individual race podium in the longer Twins Shootout class as well.
