Bruce Barry
Bruce Barry took the trip from one Midwest town to the other as he traveled from his hometown of Cary, Illinois to Pawnee County, Oklahoma for the first annual running of The Invite presented by Dunlop. He came prepared with his Kawasaki Ninja 300 in tow and was ready to do battle at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in the heartland of the United States. Barry registered in multiple classes throughout the weekend, signing up to compete in the 300 & 400 +50 class as well as the Superbike 300 Expert division aboard his Kawasaki. In the 300 & 400 +50 class, the rider from Illinois rode and consistent and solid race throughout the six-lap affair, eventually finishing comfortably in 3rd position with a healthy margin between himself and the rider in 4th place. He didn’t log any results for the second race. In the Superbike 300 Expert class, Barry ended up finishing in 5th position in the first race and he made noticeable improvements in the second race, improving his lap time by more than two seconds as he worked his way up to an eventual 3rd place finishing position. In the third race, he logged another solid 4th place result which set him up for a titanic battle in the final race of the 300 Expert division, eventually producing another 5th place finish with a gap of just one-tenth to the rider ahead of him.
