Brandon Beals showed up to the first annual Invite presented by Dunlop ready to hit the track on his Yamaha YZF-R6. He registered to compete in the Superbike 600 Expert class and as soon as he hit the pavement at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, he looked as though he was immediately running a comfortable pace. Beals was able to turn that pace into a solid grid position in qualifying and came out swinging in race one, pushing to the best of his abilities during the six-lap sprint. The Yamaha rider eased into a gap between the riders on both sides of him and fell into a comfortable pace, holding on for a solid 5th place result at the checkered flag. In the second race, Beals produced more of the same as he improved his personal best lap time on the weekend, breaking under the 1:20.0 mark on his way to another 5th place finish. In the third race, the Yamaha pilot produced more of the same as he fell comfortably into his rhythm and logged consistent lap times, holding on firmly to 5th place until the end of the six lapper. Beals did not start the fourth race.
