Andrew Forsythe took the journey from Waco, Texas north across state lines to Oklahoma in order to attend the inaugural running of The Invite presented by Dunlop at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. The twenty-year old signed up to race both the Superbike Twins Expert class as well as the Twins Shoot-Out throughout the three day weekend of racing. Forsythe started off the weekend strong after a solid qualifying session, taking 4th place in the first race of the Superbike Twins Expert division. The Texan’s fastest lap time in his first race outing was a 1:24.54 and he managed to build a comfortable gap back to the 5th place finisher, giving him confidence for the next three races in the class. In the second and third races, Forsythe continued to improve his pace as he dipped below the 1:24.00 mark with his best lap, collecting another pair of 4th place finishes to count towards his overall result. In the final race of the Superbike Twins Expert class, the #143 Suzuki outmaneuvered one of his opponents in a close battle that came down to the checkered flag, earning 4th in the race and the overall classification. In the first Twins Shoot-Out race, Forsythe his personal best lap time of the weekend in the form of a 1:23.84 and bagged another duo of 4th place finishes between both races, proving his consistent pace from the first race of the weekend to the last.
